| Sriman Prasada Rao is the lead advisor.
Prasada Rao holds a Ph.D. degree in Civil Engineering from
Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay and Civil Engineering degree
from Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur. He is currently
Associate Professor and Chair of the Civil and Environmental
Engineering at California State University, Fullerton. He has
earlier worked for Duke University and The Johns Hopkins University.
He is a second generation Vaastu specialist in his family.
Building on his expertise, he has developed a unique Vaastu grading
theory by which western houses can be categorized into ‘A’, ‘B’,
‘C’ and ‘D’ grades. His focus is in bringing the lower
grade houses to higher grades, with out any structural changes.
Residing in a house that has an ‘A’ or ‘B’ grade will
bring in positive rewards to all the occupants. Unlike horoscope,
which acts solely on the individual, the negative affect of a ‘C’ or
‘D’ grade Vaastu home is felt on all the residents.
In 2009, as a recognition of his knowledge, expertise and
contribution to Vaastu, he was presented the title of Vaastu
Diplomate.
In 2007, the work that he led, relating to the design of Santa
Ana River pathway drew special recognition from the California State
Senate. This work integrated the modern engineering ideas with the
Vaastu principles. His earlier works have been profiled by The
Orange County Register, The Chronicle for Higher Education and
American Society of Civil Engineers Magazine.
His academic research grants have been
funded by US Environmental Protection Agency, US Department of
Defense, Office of Naval Research and US Department of Interior.
His muhurtham timing calculations are based on Surya
Siddhantha theory. He has been trained to calculate the
auspicious timing for various functions.
He is also knowledgeable on Vedic horoscope analysis.
